This key leadership role oversees daily nursing operations within a specific unit, supports staff development, and promotes a safe and compassionate environment for our residents. Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements Active (RN or LPN) license in Wisconsin with a minimum of 3 years of Nursing Experience Previous nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Leadership experience preferred (Nurse Supervisor or Unit Manager, Charge Nurse etc.) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Infection Control Certification or willing to obtain Passion for team-building and delivering person-centered care Assistant Director of Nursing Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage and supervise nursing staff on assigned unit Oversee daily nursing operations including staffing, scheduling, and workflow Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Monitor resident outcomes, quality measures, and regulatory compliance Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to nursing staff Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting Participate in resident and family meetings to address concerns and ensure satisfaction of care Be a part of clinical Leadership call rotation Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of nursing staff as needed Why Join Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center We believe in supporting the people who care for our residents every day.
