Job Description
Director of Nursing (RN) Felician Village is seeking a dedicated mission-oriented and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to provide clinical leadership over our 64-bed, CMS 5-star rated, skilled nursing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate RN leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of excellence. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring high quality care, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care are being delivered, while also building strong inter-personal relationships with residents, families, and staff. Position Summary The Director of Nursing provides leadership and oversight of the Nursing Department to ensure high-quality resident care is being maintaining in addition to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This position works closely with the President/CEO/NHA and interdisciplinary team to promote clinical excellence and a resident-first philosophy throughout our health care ministry. Responsibilities Direct and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff and department leaders. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Oversee staffing, quality improvement (QAPI), infection prevention, and clinical documentation. Implement nursing policies and procedures. Manage departmental budgets and resources. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff. Collaborate with ACOs and key system partners on clinical outcome goals Qualifications Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required. 3-5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Point Click Care or another EHR Physical Requirements Frequent walking and standing, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
