We are seeing a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager to lead operations and ensure exceptional care for residents in our long-term care living option.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday (some evenings/weekends)
Status:
Salaried, Exempt Pay Range:
$93k to $105k About the Role The Assistant Director of Nursing/Unit Manager oversees daily operations and quality of care for a 36-bed long term care unit, with 24/7 accountability. This role provides leadership to clinical staff, ensures regulatory compliance, supports a positive experience for residents and families, and serves as the Infection Control Preventionist for the organization. Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing and interdisciplinary staff Manage unit operations, staffing coordination, and workflow Support clinical care, assessments, and care planning Ensure compliance with regulations and infection control standards Participate in quality improvement (QAPI) and leadership meetings Maintain strong communication with residents, families, and staff Assist with hiring, coaching, and staff development Required Qualifications Active RN license in Wisconsin 3-5 years of long-term care experience Previous leadership/management experience required CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Infection control certification and/or experience This position offers opportunity to lead and make a meaningful impact on resident care, work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, involvement in organizational leadership and quality initiatives, and support for growth and development.
