Full Job Description Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation to join our team at Pine Hill Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our rehabilitation programs, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Role:
As our Director of Rehabilitation , you will be responsible for: Overseeing the daily operations of our rehabilitation department, including developing and implementing treatment plans, staffing, and budgeting. Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care. Conducting patient assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and communicating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accrediting organizations, and professional standards. Recruiting, motivating, and mentoring staff to provide exceptional patient care and customer service. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and evidence-based research to continuously improve our rehabilitation programs.
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant. Active licensure in the state of Alabama and certified by the relevant professional organization Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
