Bella Vita Health and Rehabilitation in Glendale, Arizona, is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department. Our therapy department supports patients through short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, outpatient services, and community-based programs. Position Responsibilities As the Director of Rehabilitation, you will: Lead, mentor, and support a skilled team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and therapy assistants. Promote excellent clinical care, strong patient outcomes, and regulatory compliance. Oversee daily therapy department operations, staffing, scheduling, productivity, and program performance. Develop and grow therapy programs across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services. Create efficient workflows that support patient goals and therapist success. Foster a positive team culture built on collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Partner with facility leadership to support strategic initiatives and operational goals. Identify opportunities to improve clinical programming, patient satisfaction, and overall department performance. Qualifications Current Arizona professional license or eligibility to obtain Arizona licensure. Clinical therapy experience in skilled nursing, outpatient care, home health, or a related setting. Previous leadership, management, or therapy department experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
