We're currently hiring a team-oriented Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee the rehab department and provide Physical Therapy services at a 140-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Jackson, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY

Director of Rehab (DOR) is responsible for the day-today activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility. This includes but is not limited to: the delivery of direct and indirect services to in-patients and out-patients, supervision of all therapy personnel, participation in facility meetings regarding patient care, interviewing and recommending new hires, and training of all therapy personnel. DOR is responsible for implementation of new programs to meet the needs of the facility and the residents, delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out all assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed in the state of CA as a Physical Therapist Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards. A minimum of 18 months to 2 years of clinical experience as a therapist preferred Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources. Full knowledge of resident's rights. Exudes professionalism in presentation. Able to prioritize and work on multiple tasks. Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in the English language. Familiarity in
