A Director of Rehabilitation directs rehabilitation services for a hospital, clinic or specialized rehabilitation facility. Supervises rehabilitation therapy staff and counselors and coordinates services for patients or clients. Manages scheduling, budgets, facility equipment and resources.
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehab to join our team at Gulfside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that meet the unique needs of our residents, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care, including medical, nursing, and social services Provide guidance and support to rehabilitation staff to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of care and service Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and service Participate in hospital and departmental committees, including quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a rehabilitation management or leadership role Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation, Healthcare Administration, or related field $80,000 to $95,000 annual salary based on years of experience Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance 401
