Director of Rehabilitation, DOR Prestige Care Center of Fairfield 400 Highland Street, Fairfield, IA 52556 Position Overview Prestige Care Center of Fairfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Rehabilitation to lead and oversee our in-house rehabilitation program. This is an excellent opportunity for a rehabilitation professional who enjoys leadership, clinical coordination, team development, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and residents. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department. Provide leadership and support to therapy staff, including PT, PTA, OT, COTA, and SLP team members. Coordinate therapy services to ensure quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with nursing, administration, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members. Assist with staff recruitment, orientation, training, and performance management. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, residents, families, and facility staff. Ensure therapy services are delivered in accordance with applicable professional standards and facility policies. Support census growth and the overall success of the rehabilitation program. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely completion of required reports. Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional rehabilitation environment. Qualifications Current professional license or certification appropriate to the candidate's therapy discipline. Previous rehabilitation leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred. Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care. Why Join Us?
