We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and leadership-oriented Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve as our Director of Rehab . Position Overview As the Director of Rehab, you will lead our therapy team, manage day-to-day rehabilitation operations, and maintain high standards of patient care. In addition to administrative leadership, you will provide therapy services within your scope as a COTA to help residents achieve their functional goals and maximize their independence.

Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management:

Oversee daily rehab department operations, scheduling, and therapy staff supervision.

Patient Care:

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services under the care plan established by an Occupational Therapist (OT).

Compliance & Quality:

Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, facility policies, and documentation standards.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and administration to coordinate resident care plans.

Billing & Utilization:

Monitor department productivity, billing accuracy, and caseload management.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Licensure:

Active state license/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Experience:

Prior clinical experience in a skilled nursing or senior living environment required. Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities with proficiency in rehab software/EMR systems.
