Role:

As a Rehabilitation Department Director, you will be responsible for: Providing administrative oversight and support to the rehabilitation department, including budgeting, scheduling, and staff management Developing and implementing rehabilitation programs and services that meet the needs of our patients Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve patient-centered outcomes Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, licensure standards, and accreditation guidelines Fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and open communication within the department Building and maintaining relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and community providers

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including patient care, staff scheduling, and facility management Develop and implement rehabilitation programs and services in collaboration with other departments Manage and supervise rehabilitation staff, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation aides Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensure standards, and accreditation guidelines Monitor and improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and quality metrics Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide input on departmental policies and procedures Maintain accurate and timely records and reports, including patient charts and staff performance evaluations

Requirements:

Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field Current licensure or certification in state and specialty area (PT, OT, SLP, etc.) Minimum of 5 years of experience in rehabilitation management or leadership Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
