About Us:
Exceptional Rehab, located within the warm and welcoming Siena Woods facility, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate therapy services to individuals in need of rehabilitative care. We focus on improving the quality of life for our residents through personalized, attentive care and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are located in Dayton, OH.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping residents achieve their fullest potential while collaborating with a skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide top-notch therapy to residents, helping them communicate better and improve their quality of life Work with a diverse range of rehab patients and rehab needs Collaborate with a fun and supportive interdisciplinary team Deliver personalized treatment plans in a welcoming, community-centered environment Willing to work weekends as needed. Directly supervises COTA staff. Indirectly supervises other therapy and facility staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company and facility policies, practices, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Indirect supervisor of nurse, program, activity and other assistants as their job functions relate to resident care. Must consistently use discretion and independent judgment.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited education course in occupational therapy Licensed OT in the state the facility is located in Long term care and EMR experience strongly preferred Experience in SNF setting is a plus but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills A passion for helping others thrive!
