Role:

As the Director of Respiratory Therapy, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our respiratory therapy department, including staff management, patient care, and program development. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and treatment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department, including staff management, patient care, and program development Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and treatment Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective patient care and treatment Provide education and training to staff members to ensure competency in respiratory care practices Monitor and evaluate the department's performance, making recommendations for improvement as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Develop and manage departmental budgets and resources

Requirements:

Education:

Active Ohio RRT Experience:

1+ year experience in long term care, preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
