Director of Respiratory Services Lead. Inspire. Elevate Respiratory Care. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Respiratory Services to lead and oversee our respiratory therapy program within a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional respiratory care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and the continued growth of specialized pulmonary and ventilator services. The ideal candidate is a clinically strong respiratory professional with leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all respiratory services and respiratory therapy staff Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and clinical standards Develop, implement, and monitor respiratory care protocols and best practices Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, therapy teams, and administration to optimize resident outcomes Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations Provide mentorship, training, and continuing education opportunities for respiratory staff Oversee ventilator, tracheostomy, CPAP/BiPAP, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs Monitor quality measures, infection control initiatives, and clinical performance indicators Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, admissions reviews, and care planning processes Assist with budget management, equipment oversight, and vendor relationships Support census growth through development and expansion of respiratory service lines Qualifications Current RRT or CRT credential and active state Respiratory Care Professional license Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience with ventilator management, pulmonary rehabilitation, and post-acute respiratory care Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical best practices Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing clinical teams Why Join Our Team?
