Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead and oversee comprehensive rehabilitation services within our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves managing clinical teams, ensuring compliance with rehabilitation regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for improving patient outcomes, a strong background in rehabilitation medicine, and proven leadership skills to foster a collaborative and innovative environment. Duties Lead and coordinate all aspects of rehabilitation programs, ensuring they meet clinical standards and regulatory requirements Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, skilled nurses, and rehabilitation specialists Develop and implement individualized patient care plans focused on functional recovery and quality of life improvements Oversee patient assessments, progress tracking, and documentation to ensure optimal outcomes Ensure compliance with rehabilitation regulations, safety protocols, and best practices in long-term care and acute settings Manage staffing schedules, training initiatives, and resource allocation to maintain high-quality service delivery Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient rehabilitation strategies Maintain accurate records of patient progress, staff performance, and program effectiveness for continuous improvement Skills Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation medicine principles, physiology, anatomy, and clinical best practices Proven experience working within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers with a focus on patient care excellence Strong leadership skills in clinical team management and staff development Familiarity with rehabilitation regulations and compliance standards across healthcare settings Ability to perform manual handling safely while managing heavy lifting tasks during patient transfers or equipment setup Experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments to tailor personalized rehabilitation plans Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques, acute care procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and basic life support (BLS) certifications Demonstrated capability to manage complex cases involving long-term care or acute recovery scenarios Join us as a Director of Rehabilitation , where your expertise will drive innovative patient-centered programs that transform lives. Pay:
$71,300.00 - $145,000.00 per year
