Job Description

We are looking for a committed and patient-focused, Full-Time Director of Rehab ! Must be a licensed
PT, OT, SLP, PTA, COTA
with skilled nursing experience for 2+ years. The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for managing and supervising the rehabilitation department to meet resident needs. The DOR will achieve specific patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and effective management of staff, maintains professional conduct, including positive levels of interaction and rapport.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, orient, and train Rehab Department Coordinate treatment activity between disciplines and team members Assist with the interview process for hiring Ensure that therapists and therapy assistants are compliant with documentation. Communicate effectively with administration regarding department programs, goals, objectives, risks, and successes. Ensure timely and accurate billing of services provided and completion of required documentation and maintain quality of services. Attends all mandatory meetings and training Assures all patient care activities are performed according to the company policies and procedures Contribute to client relations and community education activities
