Job Description

The Full Time Director of Rehabilitation leads and manages the PT, OT, or SLP team in Belle Fourche, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational success. The role combines clinical expertise with proven management experience to drive performance improvement and staff development. Competitive compensation up to $125,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage the rehabilitation therapy team Oversee daily operations of the rehab department Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Develop and implement clinical programs and performance improvement initiatives Manage productivity, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality assurance standards Support staff development, training, and retention efforts
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist Active and unrestricted South Dakota license or ability to obtain Minimum of 5 years of leadership or rehab management experience Strong knowledge of rehab operations, compliance, and productivity standards Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Degree from an accredited PT, OT, or SLP program Current state licensure in respective discipline CPR certification or ability to obtain
Preferred Skills:
Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care
