Job Description

AVIR Health Group is looking for a qualified Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to join our family! This is open to an SLP, PT, PTA, OT, or COTA. A Texas licensed therapist is required for this position. We are searching for a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) who is resident, and family-focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of this role is managing and supervising the rehabilitation department to meet resident needs, the company's fiscal requirements, and federal and state regulations. Major Responsibilities:
Achieve specific patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and effective management of staff, customers, and referral sources. Oversee the implementation of established therapy plans of care. Management of scheduled treatment days, per the Plan of Care, for patients, on a daily basis. Track admissions and discharges, to ensure appropriate scheduling of evaluating therapists for timely completion of evaluations and discharge summaries. Ensure Therapists complete documentation properly and completely, in a timely manner. Monitor productivity of therapists, labor hours, flextime, and overtime.
Qualifications:
Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired specific to discipline. Demonstrates leadership, organization, and communication expertise. About the
