Location Requirements:
Candidates must be able to work at the following Kaiser facilities: San Marcos Zion San Diego Medical Center (SDMC)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM May be scheduled every other weekend Kaiser will schedule 2-4 shifts per week This position is treated like a true per diem role; however, candidates must be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week and provide adequate notice for any unavailable dates.
Pay:
$37-43.00 per hour D.O.E.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of Part 1 and Part 2 Basic ECG Course Ability to pass an
EKG Rhythm Recognition Test Preferred Qualification:
Six (6) months of ECG experience
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and instruct patients while performing diagnostic EKG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings as ordered. Perform additional diagnostic testing, including Holter monitor and event monitor placement and recording. Edit and confirm EKGs according to physician interpretation. Review EKG tracings for significantly abnormal rhythms and escalate findings when appropriate. Provide high-quality patient care while supporting the Cardiology team.
