Job Description
We are seeking a Certified EKG Technician needed to fulfil a full-time (Mon-Fri) position. Tasks include assisting with our stress testing in our Nuclear Medicine labs and working in our Cardiac Monitoring Department. Rotation to our Clearwater, Safety Harbor and Largo locations will be required. Our practice mission is to deliver high quality and excellence in cardiovascular medicine. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients, ensuring proper placement of electrodes and accurate readings. Assist in the preparation of patients for testing, providing clear instructions and support the patient during procedure. IV phlebotomy Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to interpret ECG results and communicate findings effectively. Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (HER) systems. Identify and resolve technical issues with equipment Application of various cardiac monitoring devices such as holter, extended and MCT monitors.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Familiarity with understanding ECG rhythms and patterns is preferred Previous experience in a cardiology setting with computer and electronic medical record experience is preferred. Must posses excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and professional attitude, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently.
