Explains test procedures to patients, sets up and runs equipment and monitors readings. Provides reports and readings from the test to a physician for analysis.

EKG Technician Responsibilities:
Responsible for cardiology-related services. Responsible for performing EKGs, including the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping, and all related support activities. Assists the physician and other healthcare professionals in related technical areas as needed. Functions independently with minimal or no supervision and may coordinate others, as applicable.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Required Certification:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
