1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Tech - EEG with 2+ years of experience and EEG certification to work night shifts in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Details Neurology:

EEG unit with 2 outpatient beds and 2 inpatient beds Will also float to ICU to perform EEG tests Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics, including seizure, stroke, gunshot, autistic, ADHD, pseudo-seizure, and trauma cases 1:1 patient ratio 8-hour night shift schedule, Tuesday-Saturday 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every weekend rotation required No on-call requirements Epic EMR preferred, Nihon Kohden software experience required Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required BLS certification required EEG certification required unless grandfathered in through experience Active license required if applicable Skills required include neonatal experience, electrode placement, patient prepping, recording/measuring, pattern recognition, and wrapping head for continuous EEG Nihon Kohden software experience required Epic EMR experience preferred Candidate's middle name or initial needed for consideration Candidate DOB and last 4 of SSN needed for consideration Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN Additional Information Support on the unit includes other EEG techs, RRT/Code Team, EEG Supervisor, and public safety officer 911 is called for outpatient emergencies Orientation consists of 1 shift on the unit Holiday work required if scheduled on a holiday Scrub color required: Caribbean Blue Free parking available First-time travelers will be considered Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius rules Former employees of Advocate Health or its subsidiaries must be separated at least 12 months before being eligible for travel assignments
