Responsibilities To move forward in this position you must have at least 1 year of experience as an EEG Tech•+ Prepare patients for Electroencephalogram ( EEG ) procedures by explaining the process, taking medical history, and ensuring comfort + Apply electrodes using the 10-20 system and monitor equipment for accurate signal capture + Conduct EEG recordings including routine, sleep-deprived, ICU , and intraoperative monitoring + Identify and document abnormalities such as seizure activity or unusual brain wave patterns + Assist during long-term or emergency monitoring for neurological events or brain death evaluations + Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues + Collaborate with physicians to support diagnoses of epilepsy, brain injuries, tumors, and other medical conditions + Ensure patient safety by monitoring during procedures and responding to seizures or emergencies Qualifications + High School Diploma or Equivalent. + Completion of educational program for EEG technicians preferred. + Current BCLS ( AHA ) certificate upon hire and maintain current. + 2 yrs experience as an EEG technician preferred. + Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred. + Certification from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies ( ABRET ) preferred + Competitive compensation + Medical insurance benefit plan + 401K Employment Status Per Diem Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity EEOC KnowYourRights\ screen\_reader\ 10\ Need help finding the right job?
