What you should expect to do in this role: Demonstrates the ability to independently utilizes Electroencephalograph equipment and impedance meter equipment Independently utilizes EEG technology including A-D conversion, impedance, common mode rejection, filters and sensitivity settings and montages Demonstrates ability to monitor normal and abnormal EEG patterns, neuroanatomy and physiology associated with EEG Measurement and application of electrodes using the internal 10-20 system of placement with adults and pediatrics Documents all patient related activities in a manner that is thorough, clear, timely and allows for easy retrieval of information and is consistent with medical center policies and procedures Assists the organization in incorporating the guiding principles into its education practices and in creating an environment responsive to change Independently performs routine

studies Consistently meets established productivity requirements What qualifications you will need for this role: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider
CPR ABRET EEG
Registered Minimum 2-3 months of training as an EEG Tech. Associated degree of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation 1 or more years of experience preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written Teamwork skills Demonstrated knowledge of principles of growth and development over an individual's life span Benefits Wesley Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
