EKG Technician Pikesville, MD Pay From:
$28
Per Hour MUST:
The EKG Tech needs to have the following: 1+ year of experience in a high volume cardiology site Experience setting up patients for EKG s and placing electrodes Measuring and recording the electrical activity of the patient s heart Entering patient data and documenting EKG results Taking and monitoring vitals including blood pressure Setting up patients for stress tests Utilizing various EKG machines Assisting with stress tests
BLS EKG Certification or Diploma DUTIES:
The duties of the EKG Technician include but are not limited to the following: Prepare patients for testing Place electrodes Assist with stress tests Measure and monitor blood pressure heart rate Assist with nuclear techs as needed Document and report findings Update patient s EMR records Provide assistance as required Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
