How you'll contribute A Cardiovascular Technician II who excels in this role: Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Enter new data as needed. Monitors heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. Reports any changes to the appropriate person. Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment. Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. What we're looking for: 1 Year Experience in the Cath Lab Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g. Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, Paramedicine, Licensed Practical Nurse or equivalent academic program and experience.) Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Non-Radiologic Technology and Licensed Practical Nursing requires Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 6 months of hire Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Preferred More about
