Prepare patients for testing, accurately document studies, and ensure timely routing of results for physician interpretation.
Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment, clean and disinfect instruments, restock supplies, and coordinate equipment maintenance as needed.
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to infection prevention and safety standards.
Apply knowledge of EEG waveform recognition, neuroanatomy, physiology, the International 10-20 System, and patient assessment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies.
Participate in ongoing professional development, maintain required credentials, and support the education of students and fellow healthcare professionals.
