Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in a distinguished healthcare environment, supporting specialized cardiac care as an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech. This contract assignment offers reliable, daytime hours with no required on-call, floating, weekend, or holiday coverage—providing a consistent work-life routine.
Schedule:
9-hour day shifts, three days per week Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00
PM Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech, particularly with advanced imaging techniques Understanding and application of cardiac EP lab protocols Proficiency in operating imaging systems and EP mapping equipment BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred Strong ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists in a fast-paced clinical setting Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for EP procedures, including documentation and pre-procedure education Operate imaging and EP mapping equipment with accuracy during electrophysiological studies and ablation procedures Anticipate the needs of the EP physician and clinical staff during cases Monitor real-time images and physiological data to ensure optimal diagnostic results Maintain sterile environments and support the highest standards of infection control Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot technical issues as needed Document procedures accurately in line with regulatory and facility standards
