Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting cardiac care as a skilled professional with experience in Imaging, Electrophysiology (EP) Technology, and Cath Lab Technology. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current experience as an EP Tech, Cath Lab Tech, or in Imaging specializing in electrophysiology and catheterization procedures Proficiency with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology equipment Familiarity with invasive cardiac procedures, including device implants and ablations Registry or certification (RCES, RCIS, or ARRT) highly preferred Ability to work well in fast-paced, high-acuity settings Excellent communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams Strong organizational and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist with electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization procedures Operate specialized imaging equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care Maintain a safe, sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols Document and track procedural data accurately in electronic records Participate in on-call coverage as needed Support patient education and follow-up as part of the clinical team
