Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled EP Technician with experience supporting Imaging and Cath Lab procedures. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a dedicated clinical environment.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as an EP Tech or Cath Lab Technician Competence in operating imaging equipment during electrophysiology studies Familiarity with current cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablation and device implantation Proven ability to assist physicians during a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures Current certification or registry as applicable (RCES, RCIS, or similar preferred) Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for imaging equipment and cath lab tools BLS and ACLS certification required Excellent communication abilities and commitment to team collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment used in EP and Cath Lab procedures Monitor and record patient vitals during imaging studies and interventions Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists in complex procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times Prepare patients and examination rooms according to established protocols Document all aspects of the patient's procedure accurately and timely Uphold rigorous infection control standards and clinical best practices
