Vascular Ultrasound Examinations:
Perform comprehensive arterial and venous Doppler ultrasound assessments. •
Diagnostic Reporting:
Produce accurate, detailed diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making. •
Patient Assessment:
Deliver high-quality patient-centred care throughout the diagnostic pathway. •
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the vascular laboratory team to maintain excellent standards of service delivery. •
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with departmental and professional standards. •
Training and Development:
Support the education and training of junior staff, students, and colleagues where required. •
Multidisciplinary Working:
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions involving complex vascular cases. •
Quality Assurance:
Contribute to service quality, clinical governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications / Requirements
Professional Qualification:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Clinical Vascular Science or a related discipline. •
Accreditation:
Relevant professional accreditation and registration appropriate to the role. •
Experience:
Significant experience as a Clinical Vascular Scientist performing arterial and venous Doppler ultrasound examinations. •
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of vascular ultrasound techniques, diagnostics, and reporting. •
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-focused approach. •
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare environments. •
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex diagnostic information accurately.
