Job Overview:
Monitors video EEG patients and identifies seizure activities. Perform neurophysiologic tests including EEGs and video-EEG initiation for adult and pediatric patients. Qualifications:
Required:
HS Diploma BLS certification required EEG Board registration
Preferred:
Certified in Video Monitoring preferred Knowledge of neurodiagnostic tests preferred

Days PD Essential Functions:
The EEG Technician is responsible for performing EEG tests when requested by a physician. As part of the testing process, an EEG Technician will gather a patient's medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure. During testing, the EEG Technician monitors the patient's status and notes any abnormalities.
