As an EEG/Neurophysiology Technician , your skills and expertise will be necessary to provide personalized, high-quality, cost-effective diagnostic testing for people with neurological conditions.

$19.75•$33.13 /
Hour Responsibilities :
Accurately records patient medical history and prepares information prior to review by the interpreting Physician. Professionally prepares patients for the procedure and monitors patients throughout the process. Accurately records brain electrical activity through EEG and EP testing, using existing clinical guidelines for measurement and placement of electrodes. Competently recognizes and eliminates electrical interference and artifacts, or monitors and identifies them on record when elimination is not possible. Consistently ensures equipment is kept clean and in working order. Proactively identifies faulty equipment and arranges for repair, as necessary. Actively assists with the training and orientation of new EEG/Neurophysiology Technicians, as directed by department leadership. Professionally serves as informational resource to internal and external customers. Provides patient/family education related to the testing process
Required :
High school Diploma or GED Minimum of six (6) months of recent acute care or physician office clinical experience performing EEGs and Evoke Potentials is required. Must have the ability to fulfill on-call requests during a variety of different shift patterns within the established response time frame.
