The Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute cares for patients with a variety of heart, vascular and thoracic diseases and provides the highest level of patient care, innovative treatments and a welcoming environment to all. The EKG technician will regularly interact with nursing staff, members of the Adult Medical Emergency Team (AMET), physicians, and other EKG technicians to coordinate and perform cardiac testing, ensure timely communication of results, and support patient care across various clinical settings.
- A caregiver in this position works 6:30am to 3:00pm or 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms.
Physical Requirements:
- + Physical strength to assist patients into position for testing. + Physical strength to transport equipment to various locations throughout the Cleveland Clinic facility. + Extensive walking and standing.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Pay Range
- Minimum hourly: $15.
