EMG Technician Seeking a qualified Electromyograph (EMG) Technician for a highly reputable hospital in Philadelphia. This is a full-time 13-week contract with the option to extend.
Local Pay Rate:
$50/hr
Travel Pay:
$2161/wk
Schedule:
Full Time:
40 hrs/week 5 x 8 hour day shifts 7:00am-3:00pm 13-Week Contract with potential for extension
Pay :

Requuirements:
2+years experience BLS required
Job Description:
The Electromyography Technologist, under the Director of Neurodiagnostic services, performs nerve conduction studies and assists physicians with needle examination in the laboratory and at the patient's bedside. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to young adult, adult and geriatric age patients Proven ability to work with physicians, administrators and staff Demonstrates the ability to problem solve Demonstrates the ability to resolve technical issues within their field Possesses excellent communication skills Possesses strong computer skills (MS office-Excel, Word) Demonstrates knowledge of patient history, anatomy and technical skill pertinent to EMG technicians Ability to assemble, disassemble EMG equipment for redressing per each patient case Displays knowledge of proper function of equipment Displays technical skill of electrode placement and proficiency with components of machine Displays knowledge of cleaning procedures for equipment Possesses ability to record responses with testing and can differentiate between normal and abnormal responses Displays knowledge of data entry to electronic health record and hospital billing Possesses ability to assemble monthly statistics Displays ability to teach co-workers and precept students in fieldWork with physician to diagnose particular health problems For immediate consideration text or call Josh at 484-567-9451 #allied2tech
