The program consists primarily of online instruction followed by one required in-person hands-on training day at our training facility. The instructor will provide online classroom instruction and supervise hands-on EKG skills training designed to prepare students for entry-level EKG technician responsibilities and the National Healthcareer Association Certified EKG Technician (NHA CET) certification examination. The ideal candidate has professional experience performing EKGs, a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and rhythm interpretation, and the ability to explain clinical concepts clearly to students with different learning styles. Previous experience teaching an EKG Technician course is strongly preferred.
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
