An EKG Technician assists with specialized tests using an electrocardiogram machine, to monitor the performance of a patient's heart. Works under the direction of a physician or specialist. Explains test procedures to patients, sets up and runs equipment and monitors readings. Provides reports and readings from the test to a physician for analysis.

Required Qualifications Electrophysiology Tech, EP Lab Experience:
2 yearsCertifications:
CERT-ARRT
- R; BLS-AHA;
ACLS-AHA
;PALS-AHA

1 Reference in entire work history- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Current Tennessee Board licensure
- BLS completed before arrival to the unit/ department and maintained going forward
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification Preferred Qualifications Previous clinical experience as an RT-CVS in a Cardiac Cath Lab , Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is preferred and highly encouraged after one year.
