Qualifications & Skills:
Recent experience as an EP (Electrophysiology) Technologist in a healthcare setting Proficiency in imaging and interpretation specific to EP procedures Thorough knowledge of EP lab equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Ability to assist with invasive cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablations Effective communication skills to coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, and other team members Strong attention to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols ARRT registry, RCES, or RCIS credentials preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Support all facets of EP lab operations, including preparation and participation in a variety of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology studies Operate and maintain imaging systems, ensuring precise visualization throughout procedures Accurately document cases, patient data, and procedural results into electronic medical records Manage the setup and calibration of electrophysiology and imaging equipment prior to procedures Apply critical thinking skills to anticipate the needs of physicians and provide rapid, effective assistance Uphold infection control standards and aseptic technique Monitor and prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all interventions This position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
