An EKG Technician assists with specialized tests using an electrocardiogram machine, to monitor the performance of a patient's heart. Works under the direction of a physician or specialist. Explains test procedures to patients, sets up and runs equipment and monitors readings. Provides reports and readings from the test to a physician for analysis.

references (1 from within the past year), no exceptions! 2+ years of experience required - must have EP and Cath Lab experience. WA License, BLS-AHA and RT, RCIS or RCES required. Ablations, A-Fib, A-Flutter, very advanced EP lab. Circulating, assisting, core staff does the majority of the documentation. Must have experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery; ICU and PACU experience a plus. EPIC experience preferred. No call expected, but candidate should be flexible to stay until end of day if cases are added on. Volunteer basis for emergencies and weekend cases (not call time). All suites are in a combined unit, focusing on a one team approach. Candidate would be expected to be a team player and assist where able. Not required to scrub in.
