1 Description American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring Cadwell and ARC software experience and the ability to work independently. Details Provides EEG services including setup and take down for both inpatient and outpatient populations Assists with EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies as needed Works alone reading brain wave patterns using Cadwell and ARC software platforms Adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings Performs ambulatory EEG, electrode placement, portable recording, seizure studies, sleep deprived EEG, and evoked potentials 5x8 hour night shifts, Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM Rotating Sunday call required Flexible with shift hours to meet hospital needs Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required BLS certification required Medical terminology knowledge required Epic charting system experience required Community hospital experience required License required if applicable Wisconsin or Compact license accepted pending at time of consideration, must be obtained during compliance NIHSS certification may be pending at time of consideration but must be completed during compliance Additional Information Must be comfortable training one new EEG staff member Troubleshoots EEG machines as part of daily responsibilities Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles First-time travelers accepted Travel pairs accepted Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies Previous travelers may return only after a minimum 1 year separation from the facility Passport-style badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance Two supervisor references required after offer acceptanceCareer Insights for EKG Technician
