1 Description American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with 2+ years experience to provide EEG services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, requiring BLS certification and Epic experience preferred. Details Community hospital setting covering adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department areas Provide EEG setup and take down services for outpatient and hospital inpatient patients Assist with EMG/nerve conduction studies as needed Patient ratio of 1:2 Epic EMR experience preferred 5x8 hour evening shifts, most likely 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Weekday and weekend on-call requirements, with flexibility to meet hospital needs Requirements Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience required Current BLS certification required Medical terminology knowledge required Wisconsin or Compact license required if applicable, pending license accepted with completion required during compliance NIHSS certification may be pending but must be completed during compliance Epic charting system experience preferred Community hospital experience required Skilled in electrode placement, portable recording, seizure studies, sleep deprived EEG, ambulatory EEG, and evoked potentials Experience assisting with EMG/nerve conduction studies preferred Experience with ECI brain death procedures preferred Ability to troubleshoot EEG equipment Additional Information Must be comfortable training a new EEG staff member Candidate will provide flexible coverage to meet hospital scheduling needs Facility cannot accommodate latex allergies First-time travelers will be considered for this role Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at a reduced rate Travelers may return to this facility only after a minimum 1 year separation from a previous assignment Travel pairs accepted Badge photo (passport-style) required within 24 hours of offer acceptance Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
