Salary dependent on professional and teaching experience $36.43/hr.
  • $63.
14/hr. plus 25% preparation time (minimum hourly rate)

THE POSITION
Under the direction of the Administrator of Educational Services, provides entry-level occupational instruction for students entering the emergency medical service field.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Instruct high school students and adults in a classroom setting.
  • Maintain accurate student records including grades, progress reports and attendance.
  • Assist in curriculum development and/or revision.
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with approved course outline.
  • Participate in annual advisory committee meetings, staff meetings and professional development activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Firefighter, Firefighter/Paramedic, Paramedic or EMT required.
  • Three (3) years of related work experience or one (1) year related work experience and 48 semester hours of related postsecondary vocational training.
  • Possess or be eligible for a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential.
Note:
Teaching Credential:
The successful candidate must qualify for or possess a valid Three-Year Preliminary or Five-Year Clear Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential, including English Second Language Certification. Coastline ROP will assist you in starting the credentialing process.
