Annualized Potential Starting Earnings of $75,000 The Paramedic will be responsible for providing Basic Life Support (BLS) patient care, Advanced Life Support (ALS) patient care, and ambulance transportation.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Experience:

One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses and Certifications

Paramedic

ACLS Certification

Driver's License

Healthcare Provider (CPR)

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

• Emergency clinical practices and protocol
• Use of medical and related emergency equipment
• Local geography
  

Behavioral and Technical Skills:

• Act calmly and quickly in emergencies
• Work independently as part of a team, sometimes alongside emergency fire and police units
• Create and maintain a positive and cooperative working environment in stressful situations
• Work during odd hours and for extended periods, sometimes outdoors and in adverse weather conditions
• Work with much standing, bending and kneeling
• Work with a partner in lifting patients whose weight occasionally exceeds 200 pounds
• Avoid or minimize health risks from exposure to ill patients

• Exercising judgment, dexterity, and physical coordination

• Driving emergency vehicles
  Georgia Paramedic License required
  Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and meeting insurability requirements. A minimum of two (2) years of driving experience is required.
