- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assess the situation to provide appropriate medical care.
- Administer basic life support and first aid to patients in need.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition.
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Ensure that all medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with EMT protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid EMT certification and state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
