Job Summary Marshall Area Fire Fighters Ambulance Authority (MAFFAA) is seeking dedicated Paramedics to provide compassionate, high-quality Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) care. We proudly serve 9 townships, the City of Marshall, and the Village of Tekonsha through 911 response and local inter-facility transports.

Shift & Schedule Options Full-Time:

48 hours/week (Station-based 24-hour shifts out of Marshall or Tekonsha stations)

Power Truck Shift:

12-hour shifts, Sunday-Thursday (Marshall station)

Overtime:

Overtime opportunities available

Requirements & Qualifications Licensure:

Current (or eligible) State of Michigan Paramedic License.

Core Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, ACLS, and a valid driver's license. Open to

All Experience Levels:

From newly licensed paramedics to seasoned professionals (we utilize a tiered progression system that supports new grads through orientation while recognizing experienced clinicians).

Training & Compliance:

Must complete standard Incident Command (ICS 100/200/700), EVOC, and required trauma/pediatric certifications (ITLS/PHTLS, PALS/PEPP) upon hire or during onboarding as outlined by the Calhoun County Medical Control Authority protocols. What You'll Do Deliver high-quality basic and advanced life support under direction of medical control and established protocols. Respond to community 911 emergencies and manage inter-facility transports for our local hospital. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to state, local, and MAFFAA guidelines. Operate frontline ALS ambulances out of our two fully equipped stations.
