Job Description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring an EMT to join the Ambulance Services Department!
Description:
This candidate will work as a member of the Emergency Department clinical team. Responsibilities include transportation and care of patients during transport to tertiary care facilities, as well as convalescent transport to facilities or home. The EMT performs care to patients under the supervision of the Paramedic, RN, and Physician to provide appropriate age specific care in compliance with standards of practice in the hospital when not transporting patients. Skill set approved by NC-OEMS, and hospital policies will be utilized.
Requirements Include:
Completion of OEMS approved Training and competency program for EMT and current North Carolina EMT Certification required. Six months experience in a pre-hospital environment as an EMT required. BLS certification before transporting patients on ambulance. North Carolina Emergency Vehicle Driver certification or comparable Current class C Driver's License Current three (3) year driving history absent of violations.
Hours:
This is a full-time position working 10:00am - 8:00pm, 4 days per week. Weekend and holiday rotation required. May be required to work other hours for the effective operation of the department.
