Position Details Title:

Emergency Medical Technician (Per Diem)

Rate:

$27/hour

Shifts:

12 hours

Minimum:

2 shifts per week required

Schedule:

Nights and weekends are mandatory; some holidays required

Status:

Per diem with potential for full-time transition based on performance and agency needs Our per diem EMTs play a vital role in maintaining reliable 911 coverage. Shifts are assigned based on submitted availability and operational demand. Responsibilities Provide pre-hospital Basic Life Support (BLS) care in accordance with NJDOH protocols Operate emergency vehicles safely and professionally Maintain clear and concise radio communication Complete accurate patient care documentation Inspect, restock, and clean assigned vehicles and equipment Maintain current certifications and required competencies Collaborate with dispatchers, partners, hospital staff, and public safety agencies Uphold the standards and reputation of West New York EMS at all times Perform additional duties as directed by supervision or management Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED NJ or National Registry EMT Certification

AHA BLS CPR

(Provider or Instructor) Valid U.S. Driver's License ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, Hazmat Awareness Completion of agency orientation and core competencies Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of BLS (911) experience

CEVO/EVOC
