professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient patient transportation services, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process. This position offers an opportunity to serve the community by assisting patients with their transportation needs in a non-emergency setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Transport patients safely and comfortably to medical appointments, facilities, or other designated locations in a non-emergency setting. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their condition and determine appropriate care during transport. Assist patients with mobility, including lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of ambulance equipment and supplies. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment for patients and team members. Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities, patients, and team members to coordinate transportation details. Document patient information accurately in accordance with organizational policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the ambulance vehicle to ensure a safe environment for all passengers. Skills Valid EMT or AEMT certification with current licensure as required by state regulations. Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to various conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to remain calm and focused in various situations while providing compassionate care. Knowledge of safety protocols related to patient transport and ambulance operations. Physical stamina and strength to assist with patient mobility tasks. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required. $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
