Position and Responsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to protect the lives and property of a Steel Manufacturing facility in Middletown, Ohio by enforcing all company guidelines and procedures that are set in place. This position provides assistance and support to the Steel Manufacturing facility with a variety of emergency and non-emergency needs including but not limited to firefighting, fire prevention, company safety education, hands-on training, emergency medical services, confined space rescue teams, and hazardous materials response.

Requirements:

• Eighteen years of age
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• U.S. Citizenship or Naturalization
• Ability to speak and write English
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures
• Pass background check
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
• Acceptable 3-year driving record
• Must have a state EMT or EMR Certification or equivalent
• Honorable or Uncharacterized discharge from a military branch if applicable
