Pittsburgh, PA Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Paramedic License Full Job Description Primary Job Duties Provide advanced life support and ambulance transportation Drive Authority's vehicles in a safe and efficient manner Complete documentation and record-keeping required by the Authority Work Schedule The Authority is in operation 24/7/365. All field employees are designated as essential and will be required to report to work during times of emergency and disaster. Management reserves the right to make schedule adjustments as well as assign training days as needed. The workweek is from Sunday to Saturday and employees are required to work on weekends and holidays as needed in accordance with the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. Full-time staff work a 12-hour rotation with every other weekend off.

Minimum Qualifications:

20 Years of Age High School graduate or equivalent Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License PA State Certified Paramedic with EMSVO certification Ability to complete the MRTSA Physical Agility test Ability to pass a pre-employment physical Able to pass pre-employment background and driving record checks to the satisfaction of MRTSA standards Successfully complete the authorized probationary appointment requirements
