For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. As a Full Time Paramedic, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Maryville, TN. The scheduled hours are Monday - Thursday 6:00a - 2:00p, 32 hours per week. What You'll Do Assesses nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed or need for additional assistance Administers initial treatment at emergency scene and takes and records patient's vital signs Initiates intravenous fluids for hydration and to administer medication. Administers medications and drugs as appropriate for protocols and lifesaving measures Communicates with physician and other medical personnel in person and by radio-telephone Keeps current on treatment techniques, protocol changes, material, and equipment Prepares required reports and maintains records of activities Cleans assigned emergency vehicle, conducts safety inspections, requisitions and restocks supplies, material, and equipment Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records Other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from an accredited Paramedic training program Current Paramedic Certification as defined within the state in which work will be performed. Current ACLS certification NY Paramedics - based on city and county: Regional Emergency Medical Service Council (REMSCO), Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee (REMAC), Regional Emergency Medical Organization (REMO) Certifications Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
